The DoveDOT gives you everything you need to get a standard pistol with iron sights, upgraded to a modern red dot pistol. It comes with a mounting plate for any RMSc footprint optic, that easily pushes into the pistols dovetail rear sight notch. The mounting plate has a built in rear sight, which coupled with the fiber optic or tritium replacement front sight, gives you back up irons which can be used through your mounted optic.
