http://tosolini.com - I tested Meta's new Hyperscape Capture app (currently in beta) by scanning a section of the Microsoft East Campus Plaza in Redmond, WA. In this video, I show you the final 3D environment and what it's like to explore it in VR.
The scanning process took less than 15 minutes with a Meta Quest 3 headset. After uploading to Meta's servers and waiting a few hours, I got back a high-fidelity 3D scene using Gaussian Splatting technology. The results are pretty impressive for a beta.
