Did you know that left over soil from the High Speed 2 Railway (HS2) is being used to backfill the long-disused quarry to Stewartby old brickworks. The quarry is planned for the expansion of the power plant should ever the need arise.
I capture the action as a Class 66 197 (6M75) leaves the gates to Forders Sidings, the loco runs around the train before heading back to Neasden Sidings. Railcam mentions the HS2 waste is being brought in from Calvert, Buckinghamshire but i'm unsure. Leave a comment if you know where waste is being loaded onto the train.
