Once a thriving port city full of temples, statues, and trade ships, it slowly sank due to earthquakes, soil liquefaction, and rising seas. In this episode, we join underwater archaeologists as they map colossal statues, harbor walls, and shrine ruins hidden for over 1,000 years beneath the waves. Using sonar, ROVs, and divers, we reveal how this lost underwater city connected ancient Egypt to the Greek world – and why it vanished.
