Beautiful sunset flight last fall. I had this flight scheduled earlier in the day, but the weather and clouds prevented me from going up until later in the evening. It ended up being a beautiful serene time in the air. This was before I got my second camera for the cockpit or audio cable - so there is no ATC audio or narrative.
The hot air balloon was on approach to the runway threshold. I took off from taxiway A1 instead of full length to stay out of his way. Monroe has a 7000-foot runway, so there was no issue. They called me on landing over CTAF to inform me they were clear of the runway (just off the end) as they packed up the balloon. Not something you see every day :)
