"Scotland's Roof" Kayaking Expedition 2024: Episode 3: Portskerra to Armadale Bay

Day 3: Of... 8 Amazing Days, Sea Kayaking "Scotland's Roof" 2024 Expedition

Following on from yesterdays Double Cape Wrath Adventure, we start our full kayak camping trip relying on what we carry in the kayak along this remote and ruggedly exposed coastline.

Our section of the roof today was to start from Portskerra pier from the East and paddle to West to Armadale Bay past the notorious and very exposed Strathy Point, exploring every cave, arch, island and gulley we encountered along the way.
Sporting conditions were experience along almost the full route, where we enjoyed the rebounding waves from swell, tide, and wind as they interacted with the rock features.

A fantastic adventure enjoyed by the entire group handling the conditions superbly !!
