Our group went for another adventure somewhere along the East Fork River of the San Gabriel Mountains. We stayed (most of us) overnight in a place that is also special to our friend Eric who passed away just recently. We call this place "The Beach". The area that covers the whole hike is filled with historic abandoned mines, old road and a hidden water falls. Due to safety issues, we cannot reveal publicly the locations of the mines. The group consists of Alan, Jennifer & Steve, Bill (Solobackpacker), Luis, Martin, Mike, Jason (ReWhite&Blue78), Steve and myself.
