You may easily travel to Dubai during the Covid pandemic - you just need to take a PCR test and get a negative result. Travellers from the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain or Oman can take a PCR test when they arrive in Dubai. After the test, they will have to wait at their hotel for up to 48 hours for the result. If the result is negative, they may begin their holiday. If you cannot afford to wait for the test results, you may take a PCR test before departure.
Travellers from other countries have to take a PCR test before departure and present a valid negative COVID‑19 PCR test certificate for a test taken no more than 96 hours before departure. Depending on the country you are from, you may have to be tested again when you arrive in Dubai. Please note that only PCR tests are accepted in Dubai, other tests will not be accepted.
Travellers should also download the Covid-19 DXB Smart App, available for the iPhone and Android.
Dubai is definitely open for business. Feel free to travel there if you could afford it - Be careful not to blow your credit card given the state of the economy!
