Taurus G3C, is it a good budget option, or is it just cheap?

Up to 250 rounds through the Taurus G3C at the time of posting and no failures of any type. The reliability looks promising, although I'm disappointed with the sights as it's shooting low and right. Right/left can be adjusted, but up/down will be more difficult; it will need to be filed or replaced.
So far I'd say it's a good budget option, but if at all possible I'd rent it first because I'm finding it a bit difficult to shoot well due to my hand size. It has a fat grip and the trigger breaks so far back that I'm almost forced to "milk" the grip as I shoot.
Once I get some more time with it, and hopefully others weigh in also, I'll come back with a full review.
