EP 1: Our little cottage in the English countryside 🇬🇧

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first episode of Duncombe House Diaries on the YouTube.

We're terribly excited to welcome you all into our peculiar little lives as we renovate our dream country home. Duncombe House was built over 200 years ago to house the former Estate Manager of the Calwich Abbey Estate and it is positively fizzing with history.

Unfortunately, after several years of un-inhabitation Duncombe House and her outbuildings are now in quite the state of disrepair leaving us with monumental amounts of renovation, restoration and rejuvenation to be getting on with as we venture to reinstate her as a magnificent country residence.

On top of all this, we have been left with room after room of priceless historical treasures representing some 200 years worth of hoarding. It's one of the purposes of this channel to share with you everything we find from antique pianos to photos of forgotten people.
