Global Diabetes Walkathon 2025 | NeDS
Nepal Development Society (NeDS), in collaboration with the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF), successfully organized a Walkathon program to mark Diabetes Awareness Month, November 2025.
The event was conducted at Machhapuchhre Gaunpalika–8, Khoramukh, with active participation from the local community. A total of 50 participants aged above 40 years completed a 4 km walk as part of the campaign.
Along with the walkathon, comprehensive diabetes screening was carried out for all participants and community members in the village. The program aimed to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and advocate for a healthier lifestyle to prevent and manage diabetes.
