I spent full day in Mysuru starting early morning till evening and made this video, this gives you a picture of how you can plan your Mysore city itinerary. There are other options of breakfast and lunch, which you will see in next or the following episodes.

Date of Journey - 11th June 2025

We started our day from Chamundi Hill view point then proceeded to Shri Chamundi Temple.

Chamundi Temple, located atop Chamundi Hill in Mysuru, is a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari, an incarnation of Durga. This 1,000-year-old temple is an important spiritual site and offers panoramic views of Mysuru city. The temple’s majestic Dravidian-style gopuram, intricate carvings, and the Nandi statue (one of the largest in India) make it a key attraction for devotees and tourists alike.

Hallli Hatti - This is a very nice eatery for breakfast, sunday closed, location on foothills of Chamundi hills.

Guru sweets - This is also very famous and oldest shop of Mysore pak. There are other famous shops for Mysore pak, over all i liked Mysore pak here a lot.

Mysore palace - You. should take guided tour at Mysore pak, guide there would charge you Rs 350 for 45 minutues, though the fee is reasonable but the time they give you is not reasonable, they rush things bit fast, so pl talk to guide about this before you start the tour.

Sandhyas House - This is among the finest food restaurants of Mysore where you get local food. There are other famous food joints that you will see in Mysore, some of these we visited in next episode.

I wanted to go to Mahesh prasad as well, but i was not allowed to make video there, just mentioning the name here so i can let you know that it is famous eatery of Mysore.

Mysore Zoo - If you can manage to pull 3 to 4 hours in Mysore, try not to miss zoo.
Phelomena's church - This is old cathedral, if you are in Mysore, you will like to go there and appreciate the architecture, comparison done with colonge cathedral of Germany.

Light and Sound Show - The Sound and Light Show is performed in Mysore Palace which narrates the history of Mysore and the royal family through the spectacle of light and sound effects.
Timing - 07:00 pm - 07:45 pm and Sunday close
Ticket - Rs 70
