This is a quick rundown on some of the details on the inner workings of this train. This is a modded version of the Lego Horizon Express 10233 - Each car has been lengthened by 8-10 studs, windows were changed out, 4 extra cars were added, and the TGV text was added to the power cars. It is powered by 6 9V motors and 4-6 9V regulators combined in pairs putting out close to 18 volts per pair. Voltage drops across the span of the track just due to the sheer size is common, thus many regulators need to be setup spaced about. 3rd party LED lights were installed too. R104 curves are being used on this particular layout. Based upon the real SNCF TGV Sud-Est consists in the original orange scheme.
