Today I am diving further in the rich history of Canada, and finally learning about its iconic flag. The Canadian flag is very well know in America because of the unique maple leaf design, but American's are not at all familiar with the story behind the design. I am very interested to see why the maple leaf in particular was chosen to represent the entire nation of Canada.
