If your furnace circuit board is on and the gas is not igniting look at the ignitor element and see if it changes from greyish black to red. If not, then you have a short. I tested it with my continuity tester in the video and showed in the video the suspected short in the element.
I also show the flame sensor rod. If your furnace continually cycles and does not reach temperature set on the thermostat, then your flame sensor needs to be replaced. It is always in the flames so they wear out
