A 1900 years old city with huge complexes of temples, historical relics, art, statues and others. First, for those who are fit, you can just walk up the more than 365 steps. For those who wants the easy way out, there are carriages where you will be carried up on a bamboo seat by two men, one infront and another behind. The cost per trip is 200 Yuan, and plus return is 400 Chinese Renminbi. Actually walking up is not so bad because it is very slow, traffic full of people so we have to stop to let the carriages go first. White emperor city, Baidicheng is full of people every where.
I recommend you don't take carriage down, as the scenic view of Kui Gate and Qutang Gorge must not be missed. Going down hill is not strenuous at all, and there are many places for photos.
One compulsory view is the spot where the photo shown in the 10 Yuan note. Everyone is so excited to snap this photo.
