Shot on the first day of revenue service, this clip showcases BART's new 10-mile extension from the now-former Pittsburg/Bay Point terminus to Antioch, but in reverse. Featured along the way are the new Antioch and Pittsburg Center stations, plus BART's one-of-a-kind transfer point from diesel multiple unit (DMU) to electric rail service.
The new eBART or BART-to-Antioch extension officially opened for business on May 26, 2018, and now features BART's 47th and 48th stations.

** NOTE: westbound trains on this opening day only went as far as Concord Station, due to track work done between there and Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre. Otherwise, on all other occasions electric rail westbound trains from the new Pittsburg/Bay Point transfer platform will continue their complete trips to San Francisco Int'l Airport and/or Millbrae. **
