J.J. was an NYC hairdresser. Now he’s a petty criminal with a helluva drug habit. His regular gig is drug mule for Vivian aka Geek Man (who is also a pimp). J.J.’s ex-wife Veronica hustles for Viv to support her own habit. Long story short: J.J.’s world is bleak. His situation goes from bad to worse when he gets busted by a pair of undercover narcs. They offer to clear his conviction in exchange for info on other crooks. With his world tumbling down, J.J. clings to the hope that he can turn things around w/ help from his new girlfriend Parm. She’s lonely and broken, and looking for love in all the wrong places. But she doesn’t judge J.J. and hopes for a crime-free future with him.
