Vietnam Veteran Vision Project Reunion Luncheon –
This special reunion luncheon honored the Vietnam veterans who participated in the powerful Veteran Vision Project by Devin Mitchell. Held during ASU’s Salute to Service and marking the 50th commemoration of the end of the Vietnam War, the event welcomed these veterans back to ASU to celebrate their service and reflect on the lasting impact of the project.
The Veteran Vision Project, created by then-ASU student and photographer Devin Mitchell, captured the diversity of veterans by photographing them in uniform alongside poses reflecting their lives after military service. Devin later went on to serve in the military himself and has since returned to civilian life. This luncheon celebrated both the veterans featured in the project and the enduring stories their portraits continue to share.
