The OP (26F) has always been disliked by her mother-in-law (MIL) and in-laws, despite her efforts to be accepted. After OP and her husband blocked them, MIL filed a false legal claim, accusing him of owing money from his father’s estate. This backfired badly, as OP’s husband proved he built his business independently. MIL and her children lost the case and were left struggling financially.
