This is a Motormouth first look at the upcoming Vinfast VF6 subcompact, fully electric crossover. Vinfast is a Vietnamese company that will be bringing 4 new electric SUV to North America. Starting with the VF8, the 5-passenger SUV, arriving at dealerships now, followed by the VF9 large 3-row SUV in March of 2023 and the VF7 compact crossover and VF6 subcompact crossover arriving at the end of 2023. The VinFast VF6 is a FWD crossover with two trims, Eco and Plus. The Eco model has 174 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. The Plus model 201 horsepower and 228 lb-ft of torque. Eco EV range is 399 km/248 miles (WLTP) and Plus 381 km/237 miles (WLTP). EPA range ratings and pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date at the end of the year.
