A great couple of hours at Crewe - With 35018 'British India Line' or BIL for short stopped for a water top-up on-route to Southall. The loco is heading onto Swanage tomorrow from Southall for the weekend.
Also seen is A4 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' shunting around the yard after a turn move on the Basford Hall triangle.
Whilst no inference to how well these locos are maintained/looked after is meant by this - Sir Nigel was looking sparkling clean versus BIL sporting a more well used look.
A few other locos on the move - With 57308 headed out of the Thunderbird sidings for a run-out to Trafford Park, plus the unique GBRf liveried 66797 headed up to the Peak District through platform one.
