കോടതിയിലെ പ്രാരംഭ നടപടികൾക്ക് ശേഷം ഷിംജിതയെ മഞ്ചേരി ജയിലിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകും. 14 ദിവസം റിമാൻഡിൽ വെക്കാനാണ് കോടതി നിർദേശം. ഷിംജിതയെ സ്റ്റേഷൻ ജാമ്യത്തിൽ വിട്ടാൽ അതിശക്തമായ പ്രതിഷേധം പൊലീസ് നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുമെന്ന് ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി BJP പ്രവർത്തകർ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ പ്രതിഷേധം നടത്തി. After completing the preliminary court procedures, Shinjitha will be taken to Manjeri Jail. The court has ordered that she be remanded in custody for 14 days. BJP workers staged a protest at the Medical College Police Station, warning that the police would face intense agitation if Shinjitha were released on station bail.
