Dennis Woltering previews his documentary on Carnival Historian/Author Arthur Hardy, celebrating 50 years of Arthur Hardy’s Mardi Gras Guide. The new program will be shown on WYES Jan. 22 at 7:30pm. Author Michael Shurtz discusses his new book, Stalebread and the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band. The band is considered to be one of the earliest jazz bands.
Steppin' Out will be broadcast TONIGHT THURSDAY, JAN. 15 AT 7pm on WYES, and streamed on wyes.org/live and PBS apps. It will be repeated on Friday, Jan. 16 at 11:30pm. The program is hosted and produced by Peggy Scott Laborde.
