Welp, I managed to pull off one of my greatest feats yet: 13a/b on gear, a wild step up from my previous hardest redpoint of 12a on gear. On my second session working the route, the clouds came in, and I knew I’d only have one chance to pull it off. After making it past the crux from the ground, my mind went blank, and I fought as hard as I could, but to no avail. Disappointed, I retreated back to the car (5ft away) and took a nap, where I was awakened to Armand harassing me to try again. I begrudgingly obliged, and right as I was about to return to the sharp end, the universe blessed me with cloud cover once again; A second chance. Everything fell into place and I managed to send. A wild adventure of a route.
