Every Soviet Republic had to have a hotel that would represent the country and would host international guests. They were usually build for a highest possible soviet standard and named after the country. In Tashkent - Uzbekistan’s capital (surprise, surprise) they built Hotel Uzbekistan.
For a long time I been wanting to stay in one of those hotels, but never had chance. Until today… Join me for tour in Hotel Uzbekistan!
