I filmed this video as I approached Johannesburg City from the South West side. I get caught up in some slow-moving traffic on the double-decker section of the M1 highway but keep moving and am out of it quickly enough. I then take the Empire Road offramp and drive East to Jan Smuts Avenue. There I turn South and head into town. I cross the Nelson Mandela Bridge and then loop back around to the Braamfontein area, passing the Johannesburg Theater, and Constitution Hill. The video ends as I pass the Charlotte Maxeke Hospital (which used to be called the Joburg Gen Hospital).
