In family life, there is a misconception that we can only be happy in our families if we adopt Western values. Some believe there is no romance in Africanity; this is false. Like in Numbers 27 and 36, God changed the status quo of a culture in order to improve how the culture functions. We, too, in our cultures can submit to the will of God, so that God may change what does not work and align to His will that which works.
