Mike from Nature's Neighbor performs the classic track 'Hallelujah' from Jeff Buckley's 1994 masterful debut album Grace.
this is probably the most difficult cover I've ever done. And to be honest, I'm not sure how well I actually did with the performance. Jeff Buckley was one of the best ever at doing cover songs, he made them completely his own. I tend to cover other artist's songs in a pretty straight way, not diverging too far from the original which some would say is not what doing covers is about. But Jeff killed it so hard on this cover of the Leonard Cohen track that I really felt like I just wanted to pay homage to that.
