For this installment I’ve put together some thoughts on letting open strings ring (or, alternatively, getting out of the way of ringing strings). Hopefully the video explains it, but the idea is: if you hit a low C in double-C tuning, it’s usually pretty fun to let it ring like a drone. After all, every string is a drone string (if you want it to be).
N.B. Everything in this video is in double c (gCGCD) tuning
