🌄 I left home before the sun rose — at 4:00 AM. By 5:20, I had arrived in the village. Everything was still asleep, soaked in gentle rain and wrapped in early morning fog. Birds were singing. The old lanes were wet and quiet.
This was a rainy walk through three hidden English villages.
