In this Our Changing Climate climate change video essay, I explore the root causes of consumerism and how we need to build an (eco)socialist party in order to build a just future for all people and the planet. Specifically, consumerism is rooted in the ever growing cycle of capital accumulation and we must break that cycle and build a socialist world in order to truly escape consumerism.
