🐶 About The Hotel For Homeless Dogs

The Hotel for Homeless Dogs is a one-of-a-kind animal care facility and adoption center located in Cumberland, Rhode Island (powered by the New England Humane Society). Our mission is to rescue dogs and cats in need – from those facing euthanasia at overcrowded county shelters and pounds, to animals who have been abandoned or found as strays or are the unfortunate victims of inhumane situations.

We believe in offering a targeted approach to help each animal in our care become better adapted to find their new family. In addition to our unique facility, we have generous foster homes throughout the New England region.

As part of our goal, we exist to educate the public about responsible pet care. All of our animals are fully vetted as well as spayed or neutered. No matter their age, breed or the associated medical cost, we believe that every animal deserves a second chance. The Hotel for Homeless Dogs receives no state funding or government assistance.

We operate solely thanks to the donations of caring people, fundraising and adoption fees.
