Dead Fuel Pump? 1968 Pontiac LeMans Project! MOTHER NATURE paused progress!

Test and verify, when it comes to working on automotive projects you usually have mechanics in two different camps. One that just loads up the parts cannon and starts throwing parts at it, and one that tends to test and verify what they think is the issue. With this Pontiac LeMans build we're trying to keep this as budget friendly as possible, which means not spending money unnecessarily. So, let's do what we can to test before we replace. Pontiac fuel pump failure? Probably! Or is it something to with the lines or tank?

The goal with this Pontiac Project is much more than a typical Will it run and drive video, what we're trying to do is not only get this car fired up and moving under it's own power, but also begin the process of a race car build as well. Under our bent and broken hood is a Pontiac 350 which we believe is the original motor to the car. Our plan is to get this thing into the shop under it's own power so we can pull the engine and transmission to begin a build process to get this thing ready to run 12 flat or even 11.80s in a quarter mile for the 2024 Pontiac Nationals at Norwalk Ohio. We have a little less than 3 months to pull that off, sounds doable ya? Oh, and who's going to pilot this Poncho? So Pontiac 350 build is ahead but first we want to verify the condition of the motor and get it running. Unfortunately as you'll see Mother Nature had another idea and unleashed some serious weather on us pausing progress. Never fear, we'll be back at it as soon as the storms pass!
