Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the line of Pace Edwards UltraGroove retractable hard tonneau covers. Now, the UltraGroove is gonna come in a variety of different sizes and fitments for different trucks. Be sure to put your vehicle's information into our fit guide, so you get the correct cover for your year make model of truck. Otherwise though, they're all gonna function the same way, just with those different fitments. And what really sets the UltraGroove apart is the track on the bed rails here.

This is going to allow us to mount a variety of accessories like this ladder rack you see here. We can slide those into the T-track here back and forth along the entire length of the tonneau cover and allow us to mount some things up top, whether it be a kayak, whether it be a tent or a basket like we have here, it's gonna really expand the functionality of our truck. We don't have to sacrifice anything just because we have a tonneau cover on, we can still have these accessories and mount that stuff up top while keeping everything in the bed locked up and safe. Now, when I say locking, there aren't necessarily any locks on the tonneau cover itself. It's gonna work in conjunction with your locking tailgate to keep everything secure inside.

Now, you might be wondering, what's gonna stop someone from just breaking through the cover itself, and that's where the construction comes in. It's going to be made up of a series of aluminum panels on the inside, so no one can just come by with a knife and cut it open. It does have that look of a soft tonneau cover with that vinyl covering on top, but that is only going to be covering those aluminum panels, so it's nice and durable and no one's gonna be able to get through it very easily. And even though we've got those accessories mounted in the channels on the rails here and some stuff up top, we still retain full functionality of our tonneau cover, giving us the same bed access that we had before. Really simple to do.

And the Pace Edwards here works really well and it's really simple to operate too. So, if we need to get into the bed to get something, we can. If we wanna cover it up and have all our stuff up top, that's an option too. It really just gives us the full use of our truck while still having that space up top. And that T-track is really easy to access on your tonneau cover.

Just come to the end of your rails here where you've got this slightly enlarged portion, that's where we can drop in the bolts for our accessories and slide them down anywhere along the tonneau cover or slide them here to take them off. And with that in mind, let's go ahead and get this ladder rack removed and check out the cover a bit closer. A lots of times, with these tonneau covers, you have to pick and choose, whether you want the cover or whether you want something like a ladder rack. But with this, we have the option to have both. With these slots here on our rails, we can slide in accessories and adjust them back and forth along the whole length of the tonneau cover and those uprights will sit on top of the bed, so we can independently operate our tonneau cover and still have the bed covered up but also have that raised storage above the bed. It is going to be a retractable tonneau cover, so everything retracts into a canister in the bed whenever we're not using it. So, underneath here, we've got a handle that we can simply turn and latch in right there, that's gonna have this unlocked. And then just push the cover back.
