After a few days in Mumbai we are traveling to Goa for some relaxing beach time. Previously we have taken a flight to Goa but this time we are taking the train. The train we ride on is the Vande Bharat Express to Thivim station, the most northern station in Goa, closest to Arambol which is our destination.
The train normally takes about 6.5 hours, but our train was 20 minutes late. We really liked taking the train, a lot more chill and easy than taking a flight.
The train has a high speed of 120 kilometers per hour, and the average speed of the train is 75 kilometers per hour.
All in all, you save a maximum of 1,5 hours by taking a flight to Goa compared to taking the train so we will take the train up to Mumbai again when we are going back to Mumbai.
