10 Tips for Starting Garden Seeds (But it's actually 15 tips)

Happy Seed Starting Season! After years of sad, leggy seedlings, I've finally dialed in a pretty great method for starting seeds off on the right foot.

Starting seeds at home can be very tricky, but once you've established some ground rules, you'll be amazed at how much healthier your plants will be compared to those from the big box stores. and they're CHEAP! Not to mention the varieties of plants available in seed form wildly outnumber that which is available from store bought selections!

While I don't promise I won't be impulse buying more plants from my favorite local nursery, I'd always encourage beginner and experienced gardeners to give seed starting a try.
