In this video you will find the steps to create measures for Standard Deviation, Mean and Upper/Lower limits of the deviation.
With this method the SD calculation can be applied to the filtered data you have in your dashboard. So if you have a slicer in your dashboard, the SD will be only calculated to the data filtered by it.
This measure can then be entered into the BI dashboard to view in your charts and tables, displaying the elements that fall in or out of SD range.
Very easy to do, just have to follow the formula calculation shown in the video.
This will allow you to use Standard Deviation as an analysis tool to detect outliers in a selected population.
