Here's another version of "The Rose" by Amanda McBroom arranged by Jonathan Mead. This is the Solo version which I chose to play on Flugelhorn, but it also includes some bass trumpet thrown in . This video is dedicated to Donna Mead, chairwoman of the Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff, Wales. Robert Burnett approached me about making a video of The Rose, but with his favorite instruments featured: Bass Trumpet and Flugelhorn. As it just so happened, I did have an arrangement of Jonathan's ready to go!
