Was this a mistake?! | Germany | Europe Van life Ep 2

We were forced to leave our Toyota Tacoma and four wheel camper behind in Mexico to travel to Europe for medical reasons.

We decide to make the best out of an awful situation and travel one month through Europe. if you missed the first episode, you can watch this one here.

In this episode we travel through Germany. The Black forest has our focus and we drive our little van through the mountains and hundreds of switchbacks.

The journey starts in Trier, a city full of character and where Karl Marx was born and raised. Off course we had to pay his house a short visit.
The van is small, uncomfortable and it's a huge mess every day! The AC failed and Linsay is the only one that is allowed to drive.
We make our way into the black forest, the Buchkopfturm is a must see and we are in awe from the amazing views it gives us.
We also visit the Mummelsee, a touristy spot that was filled with shops, restaurants and loads of people.
Allerheiligen is a church ruin that was naturally destroyed twice. Once because of flooding and another time due to lightning. They decided to not rebuild it the last time and left is as a cool spot for us to see. The allerheiligen waterfall is nearby and exceeded our expectations. There were a lot more stairs than we bargained for. We drive the whole B500, which is pronounced as one of the most beautiful drives in Europe and they were not lying.

We could not skip the city of Freiburg. This city is unique, it has waterways all over town with fresh drinkable water. The building are full of character and we don't know where to look first.
