Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.) on Sept. 20 criticized Attorney General Merrick Garland for prosecuting individuals at the 2021 Capitol attack.
Spartz’s comments build on increasing suggestions about supposed persecution of the hundreds who were convicted or pleaded guilty to taking part in the insurrection.
