This video will show you how to replace the thermostat. This thermostat housing did not have a grove for the thermostat. This is how it came from the factory. I have no idea how they got it not to leak.
I tried 2 gaskets, one on each side but it still leaked. My solution was to buy an aftermarket one with a grove for the thermostat and it worked good and stopped the leaking.
