Under glorious blue skies on both days this years English Riviera Airshow focused on Paignton beach was a huge success. Tens of thousands of spectators packed the vantage points around Torbay as the organisers laid on a very good variety of aircraft. Navy Wings at RNAS Yeovilton sent their Harvard, Seafire, Swordfish and Westland Wasp whilst the usual civilian acts included 'The Strikemaster Pair' in their Strikemaster Mk 82's, 'Team Raven' in their Vans RV 8's and Richard Goodwin in his 'Jet Pitts' - a Pitts S2S modified with two jet engines, a quite stunning display.The RAF contributed with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and of course 'The Red Arrows' in this seasons eight ship display in what was their first full weekend in the 2023 air display season.
