Glorious Journey is comprised of three major sections, the first of which is broken into two smaller sections. The first section contains a slower yet powerful introduction that presents the A theme. The faster part features quasi-Latin and Caribbean percussion rhythms, developing the A theme. The second section shifts to a minor mode and is much more mysterious, yet still employs highly syncopated percussion rhythms. The final section presents a new, triumphant theme and echoes the A theme to finish the piece. An adventurous theme undergirds the work, creating a glorious musical journey.
