The second instalment of our 1906cc X/flow engine build. Which is destined for a genuine MK1 Mexico. Our client has supplied most of the parts, so we just need to make them all work together :)
Specs so far:
84mm Narrow journal Steel Stroker Crank
Maxspeeding Steel Rods
Kent 244 Cam
Twin 45 DCOE

The engine was originally a 1700 Super Sprint X/Flow, with 40 DCOE Carburettor (Carburetor). Upgrading the carbs to 45 DCOE will require slimming down the 38mm chokes.
The Cylinder head will require converting to Unleaded and Bores will be opened out to 85mm.
Pistons have not been decided yet, but likely to go with a 'Flat Flat Piston to Chamber' as performs well on X/Flow engines.
Resolved an issue where the Conrods collide with the Block and camshaft.
Unfortunately as is common with x-flows the head has cracked head due to their not being a lot of room between valve seats. Possibly made more likely by Unleaded inserts?
The triple groove valve stems worn out. High Rpm has resulted the valves becoming scrap.
