Jack's Place Camping, TOOGOOLAWAH, Qld - Super Budget Friendly!

We spent four fabulous nights camping at Jack’s Place, Toogoolawah, in south-east Queensland, not too far from Brisbane. This campground is bang for buck and offers stunning scenery and serenity overload!

Bookings can be made via the Hipcamp app. This must be one of their best budget friendly camping grounds on offer in this region. You will also find lots of reviews and images on the WikiCamps app.

Campsites at Jack's Place are large and flat and can accommodate set ups of all sizes.
Each campsite has a fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase.
A cassette toilet is essential (dump point at Toogoolawah Showgrounds)
No facilities or water, so bring everything you need.
There are no powered sites, just the best back to basics camping.
Creek for swimming, kayaking, yabbying
Dogs allowed, on lead
Only 5-10 minutes drive into Toogoolawah
Not too far from Brisbane

We truly enjoy experimenting with different jaffle fillings whilst camping. This trip was no exception, with us trying out Apple Strudel Style Jaffles, made with thick sliced fruit bread. They were absolutely delicious! We ate them for a sweet breakfast, but they would be fantastic as a snack during the day or for a dessert. Don’t forget a dollop of cream for extra deliciousness.
