I had been filming a few occasions back in the 90s and one in particular was cruising through our local river side parks in Florence Alabama. We used to cruise through the park until the police started pushing folks more out to another section of the park away from campers and park attendees. This was one occasion we got to film a water battle that they held for about 3 weeks until the thrill waned and we had to find something else to enjoy our time there.
This was a pretty eventful time to be able to capture this particular day on film and share it with everyone 28 years later. My late friend David Holland and I drove to the park that day and another one of our friends Larry Morris was already there so we pulled up next to him, parked and recorded this film which I edited for content and only the interesting parts.
