In this video, I install two 1.3-gallon jerry cans on the crash bars of my 2025 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Yeah, they look a little dorky—but function over fashion, especially when you're facing 526 miles without fuel between Caniapiscau Digue KA-3 and KC-29A on the Trans-Taiga Road. My goal is to carry 10 gallons of fuel to stay safe and self-sufficient in one of the most remote areas of North America. This setup is part of my full prep for a 17-day backroads journey from Asheville, NC to the end of the road in northern Quebec. If you're planning your own Trans-Taiga or just want to see what works (and what doesn't) for fuel storage on an ADV bike, this one’s for you.
