In this old video, I was inspired by a vintage advertisement of an original $2.00 Kephart Knife. I’ve never done the whole forging and heat treating of a knife before, but have watched my YouTube friends do it. In this video I attempt to cut out and shape, forge and heat treat my own blade and attach sapelle mahogany scales to make my own Kephart knife for $2.00. I had to buy the brass bolts, but everything else I already had laying around in my garage. Remember, I’m no knife maker, and don’t know what I’m doing.
