As a child patient comes to us it is imperative to check the complain of the child but at the same time often we need to practice aversive techniques to keep the child under control especially for extreme uncoperative child.
Similar incident happened as this child of 4 years came with her mother but was extremely afraid and anxious about the surroundings.
Thus we used a papoose board to keep the child in a fixed position and check her oral cavity.
The child was safe throughout the time on the chair and we got full support from the mother of the child.
